Integrate your Shadow

Our shadow consists of all our facets that we consider negative and that we hide from others and ourselves. Since we were children we have been taught to hide and ignore what we do not like about ourselves, to try to seem more perfect. But the etymology of “perfect” is “complete.” Therefore, not making space for our shadow is precisely what makes us more incomplete and faulty. The non-integrated shadow is a tricky little devil that plays us when we least expect it, no matter how evolved we believe we are. But paradoxically, if we pay attention to the little devil and welcome it, it turns into a little angel on its own. This workshop is extremely useful and necessary. Just imagine if each one of us integrated her/his shadow. Wouldn’t we live in paradise?
